Week 2 - Job hunting. Balance - £2.73

*Edit* Yes i am a huge idiot, i have just realized the email for this blog is the1poundblog@hotmail.co.uk, not .com, after trying for half hour trying to sign in, so i have updated accordingly.

Hello once again readers! Although it hasn’t strictly been a week since my last blog update (I started this thing on a Tuesday) I’ve decided for simplicity sake to update this thing every Monday rather then Tuesday as that would make more sense for obvious reasons.

Only £999997.27 to go!

So far I have received a total of £2.73! But donations haven’t exactly come from complete strangers, the first £1 was donated from my student brother down in Portsmouth, and the second generous donation came from my long suffering girlfriend Kat which was a grand total of £2 (pay pal charged me 27p to accept it for some reason). So thank you both for getting the ball rolling and putting your government funded student loans to good use!

I have also been promised £1 from numerous people next time they see me, so hopefully the grand total will rise this time next week, so wish me luck! and if you want to show your support, remember you also can donate your spare change! Donate a pound via paypal!

Also iv noticed a lot of people like to promote them selfs, or there amateur bands etc.. over things like my space and face book, so in attempt to get this blog more traffic for my self, and to expose some of you talented music farts out there, donate a £1 to the cause and send an email at The1poundblog@hotmail.co.uk give some detail about your band, or what ever you want me to promote for you, a link to your site/my space/face book profile, and ill make sure to feature you in my next blog update! I may also be able to put your music up on the blog to play when people visit the site, although I’ll need to naff around with the settings to see if this is possible.

Job Hunting

After failing to make my million in the first week of this blog I have began to relies that i must look for another money making occupation, sadly that means working for a legitimate company on a minimum wage. After leaving my last job in a soul destroying supermarket environment i was determined not to return to such a place ever again. Wednesday I took a trip down town to the job center, where I joined fellow unemployed scum bags looking for job.

After half hour search it suddenly became apparent that the only jobs i where qualified for was part time farther Christmas and more supermarket work.

But upon my walk back home devouring my heart disease inducing burger I noticed the local Loydds Pharmacy was looking for ‘Assistance’, guessing this meant they where looking for employees rather then anything sexual i decided to apply! Its now Monday and iv yet to hear of them, perhaps they don’t trust Mohawk sporting teenagers around large amounts of drugs.
